After enrolling below, PG&E will automatically start delivering your gas service to your home or business from a better source that guarantees to provide protection from supply rate increases for the next 36 months. This is a FREE program that allows all PG&E customers to receive protection from future gas supply rate increases beyond a low rate cap of 99 cents on your PG&E account!

BE ADVISED: All PG&E customers that do not choose to get their gas supplied with Price Protection, by the NGC-approved Core Transport Agents certified by PG&E through PG&E's Core Gas Aggregation Service, are currently subject to supply rate increases beyond this program's rate cap at anytime. While you can read about PG&E's Core Gas Aggregation Service at www.PGE.com, since PG&E is not allowed to directly handle your enrollment for your core gas source, you are required to enroll on an unaffiliated third party website.

Will my PG&E still deliver my gas?
Yes. PG&E owns the pipes in the ground so you cannot switch utility companies. You are simply having PG&E deliver your gas from a different source. PG&E will always be your utility company.
What am I currently paying?
Your monthly natural gas costs are comprised of supply costs, which is most of your bill, and delivery costs. Supply costs are for the actual gas itself. Delivery costs are the regulated charges from PG&E to deliver your natural gas to your location. This program allows a better source of natural gas to provide your gas through PG&E's pipes. Nothing will change with your PG&E gas delivery service.
What are the benefits?
PG&E currently buys your natural gas on a monthly basis on the open market. This means you are completely exposed to the volatility of the natural gas market, so your current gas supply rates fluctuate and could sky rocket at any time. The gas supplier that we endorse offers programs that allow customers to get a cap on their supply rates, meaning the rate will never exceed the cap for 36 months. These programs are available since gas suppliers can shop for gas cheaper than utility companies.
